Madagascar

Madagascar, officially the Republic of Madagascar, stands as an island country nestled off the southeastern coast of the African continent. The country comprises the main island of Madagascar and numerous smaller surrounding islands. Its neighboring islands include the French territory of Réunion and Mauritius to the eastern side, it shares proximity with the state of Comoros and the French territory of Mayotte in the northwest direction. The closest mainland state to this island nation is Mozambique, positioned to the west.
