Mali

Mali, officially the Republic of Mali, stands as a landlocked country situated in West Africa. Covering an expanse of more than 1,241,238 square kilometers (479,245 square miles), Mali holds the rank as the eighth-largest country on the African continent. Its borders are defined by Algeria to the north, Niger to the east, Mauritania to the northwest, Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire to the south, and Guinea and Senegal to the west.
