The Basilica of Santo Pieve (St Marino) was designed by the architect Antonio Serra Serra in the neoclassical style and was built in 1838 on the site of the demolished ancient Pieve church. The splendour of the central nave is emphasised by Corinthian columns. The main altar is decorated with a marble statue of St Marino, by the sculptor Tadolini. by the sculptor Tadolini, a pupil of Canova. Under the altar is kept part of the relics of St Marino.
