San Marino

San Marino, officially the Republic of San Marino and also referred to as the Most Serene Republic of San Marino, is a European microstate enclosed by Italy. San Marino is situated in the northeastern region of the Apennine Mountains and is recognized as the world's fifth-smallest country, spanning a total land area of 61 square kilometers (approximately 23.5 square miles).
