Discovery Centre, a unique attraction in Singapore, presents not only an extensive scientific and educational programme, but also a wide range of recreational activities. The Centre was officially opened in 1996.

Since the Centre is located on the grounds of the Military Institute, it was initially dedicated solely to the country's armed forces. Nowadays, its doors are open not only for fans of military equipment.

Taking into account the fact that Singapore has been under the cultural influence of several countries, in the Discovery Centre visitors can get acquainted with the history of Great Britain, Japan and Malaysia. Using the latest modern technology will help make this process not only educational but also exciting.

The Centre has five halls open to the public, which tell about events from the country's past, about modern achievements of Singapore and about the possible future development of mankind. A variety of exhibits, themed galleries, exhibitions and performances will surprise even the most sophisticated viewer. A paintball hall is equipped for shooting enthusiasts. On the attraction - dance floor you will have an opportunity to show your dancing skills. The cinema, where the largest three-dimensional screen in Singapore is installed, will amaze visitors with its scale. The pavilions feature a variety of sports and gaming simulators. The Centre also hosts theatrical performances dedicated to various historical events.

There is a playground for children, in addition, in between games and tours, young visitors can watch cartoons on the big screen.
