Slovenia

Slovenia, officially the Republic of Slovenia, stands as a country in southern Central Europe. Its boundaries touch Italy to the west, Austria to the north, Hungary to the northeast, Croatia to the south and southeast, and a brief stretch of coastline along the Adriatic Sea to the southwest. Embracing predominantly mountainous terrain adorned with lush forests, Slovenia blankets an expanse of 20,271 square kilometers (7,827 square miles).
