The Mirror Jet fountain was built in 1947 in honour of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. It is located on Sumskaya Street opposite of the opera theatre. It is adjoined by a small, but very picturesque public garden, in which it is pleasant to take a walk or just a stroll.
