Cuba

Cuba, officially the Republic of Cuba, stands as an island country encompassing the expansive landscape of the Cuba island, Isla de la Juventud, various archipelagos, and a multitude of 4,195 islands and cays that encircle the primary landmass. Cuba is situated at the confluence of the northern Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic Ocean. Cuba is located to the east of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, to the south of both Florida and the Bahamas in the United States, to the west of Hispaniola (comprising Haiti and the Dominican Republic), and to the north of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.

The official land area of the Republic of Cuba is officially recorded as 109,884 square kilometers (42,426 square miles), excluding territorial waters. However, when considering the exclusive economic zone, the total expanse encreases to 350,730 square kilometers (135,420 square miles).
