Dominica

Dominica, officially the Commonwealth of Dominica, stands as an island country in the Caribbean. Its geographical location aligns it with the Windward Islands chain, situated within the Lesser Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean Sea. Dominica shares its proximity with two constituent territories of the European Union – the overseas departments of France, with Guadeloupe to the northwest and Martinique to the south-southeast. Dominica covers a land area of 750 km2 (290 sq mi), and its highest peak is Morne Diablotins, reaching an elevation of 1,447 m (4,747 ft).

A marvellous lake

Miracle Lake as well as the valley in which is one of Dominica's new natural wonders. The locals call the lake the Holy Lake, as it was only recently created on a Sunday in 1997 and was created over 7 days.
