Germany, officially the Federal Republic of Germany, stands as a country situated within the western expanse of Central Europe. Positioned amidst the Baltic and North Sea to the northern border and embraced by the grandeur of the Alps in the southern precinct, Germany spans an amalgamated territory covering 357,600 square kilometers (138,100 square miles).
