Poland

Poland, officially the Republic of Poland, stands as a Central European country marked by the delineation of 16 administrative provinces referred to as voivodeships, encompassing an expansive area spanning 312,700 square kilometres (120,700 square miles). Its geographical expanse spans the contours of the Central European Plain, stretching from the northern shores of the Baltic Sea to the southern reaches of the Sudetes and Carpathian Mountains. Poland is flanked by Lithuania and Russia to the northeast, Belarus and Ukraine to the east, Slovakia and the Czech Republic to the south, and Germany to the west. Additionally, Poland shares maritime boundaries with Denmark and Sweden.
