South Africa

South Africa, officially the Republic of South Africa, stands as the most southern country on the African continent. Embraced by approximately 2,798 kilometers (1,739 miles) of coastline bordering both the South Atlantic and Indian Oceans, it shares boundaries to the north with Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. Its eastern and northeastern borders are shared with Mozambique and Eswatini. Notably, it entirely surrounds the landlocked country of Lesotho within its borders.
